About the Campaign
Without fully realizing it, Eva Markvoort started a global campaign for organ donation and cystic fibrosis awareness. Sadly, on March 27, 2010, while waiting for a second transplant, her breath ran out. She was 25.
The 65_RedRoses campaign for organ donation and CF awareness is her legacy. This website is the campaign hub.
The film has proven to have a huge impact on organ donor registrations whenever there is significant buzz around the film. In fact, BC Transplant recorded a 300% increase in donor registrations in BC around the time the film was released!
Our goal, as the campaign organizers, is to connect with transplant and CF groups and supporters across North America to help ensure that Eva’s story and the film has the greatest impact possible.
